Adriana Perez

3rd Grade Class teacher

Adriana has been connected to the Davis Waldorf School community since 2014 when her first child joined preschool. Later in 2021, Ms. Pérez joined the faculty at DWS teaching in the middle school. Most recently, she graduated an outstanding group of talented young human beings, the class of 2026. Ms. Pérez is skillful at developing the heart of the classroom, working closely with children and parents to develop a strong sense of community while addressing the needs of the children. She meets the children with loving warmth, wisdom and high expectations based on the level of each child. Her classroom is always full of warmth, beauty, plants, artistry, and laughter.

Ms. Pérez’ professional journey includes working as a landscape/urban designer, graphic designer, creative/art director, principal of her own design studio, as well as adjunct professor of design at various local universities and community colleges. She enjoys gardening, playing musical instruments, singing, drawing, painting, clay modeling, reading, creating new things, hiking and watching interesting documentaries. Ms. Pérez is a learner and educator at heart, she is curious and passionate about all creative activities which she strongly believes connect us deeply to our true self allowing us to see the beauty in others.
