Substitute Teacher

Jess Dudek worked in baseball for 10 years assisting with game promotions, group outings and special events to bring communities and families together at the ballpark (BostonRed Sox, Australian Baseball League, River Cats). She ran fundraising events & sponsorship at the Sacramento Zoo bringing together families and community to support conservation of animals. She also taught PE in the Woodland School district before falling in love with Davis Waldorf School when her son started preschool in 2022. Now her daughter has joined Davis Waldorf School and Jess is looking forward to baby number 3. Jess has always loved participating in sports, admiring nature, working and being outdoors..

Land Acknowledgement

For thousands of years, this land has been the home of Patwin people. Today, there are three federally recognized Patwin tribes: Cachil DeHe Band of Wintun Indians of the Colusa Indian Community, Kletsel Dehe Wintun Nation, and Yocha Dehe Wintun Nation.

The Patwin people have remained committed to the stewardship of this land over many centuries. It has been cherished and protected, as elders have instructed the young through generations. We are honored and grateful to be here today on their traditional lands.
