Marissa has been a Davis Waldorf parent since 2018. Beginning with parent child classes, she now has children in Kindergarten and 1st grade. She loves being involved in her local women’s philanthropy group and is an active Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) representing foster youth in Yolo county. She has spent 12 years as a flight attendant where she enjoyed traveling and meeting new people, including her husband. She was born and raised in Yolo county and attended Cal Poly San Luis Obispo where she earned a bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies and a minor Spanish.
Marissa loves to spend quality time with her family, traveling, gardening, old houses, and is an aspiring minimalist. She is excited to take on the role as the DWS Office Coordinator and looks forward to welcoming and assisting faculty, staff, and families every day.
