Climbing Rose Kindergarten Assistant

Hallie Yu is the 2nd Assistant in the Climbing Rose Kindergarten classroom. Prior to that, she was Grades Assistant for three years at Davis Waldorf. She graduated from UC Davis in 2021 and has a Bachelor’s degree in Cognitive Science. At UC Davis, she also interned at the School of Education on a project about Head Start schools.

Hallie finds working with children to be inspiring and healing. She is passionate about providing support, care, and guidance for young children. In her free time, Hallie loves reading, spending time with friends and loved ones, and crocheting.

Land Acknowledgement

For thousands of years, this land has been the home of Patwin people. Today, there are three federally recognized Patwin tribes: Cachil DeHe Band of Wintun Indians of the Colusa Indian Community, Kletsel Dehe Wintun Nation, and Yocha Dehe Wintun Nation.

The Patwin people have remained committed to the stewardship of this land over many centuries. It has been cherished and protected, as elders have instructed the young through generations. We are honored and grateful to be here today on their traditional lands.
