At Davis Waldorf School, May Faire is a cherished festival marking the time halfway between spring and summer. Rooted in Waldorf education and the DWS values of resilience, relationship, and reverence, this celebration honors spring’s arrival, the renewal of life, and our connection to the Earth. Through singing, maypole dancing, flower crowns, games, crafts, food, and performances, students, families, teachers, friends, and the greater community gather in a spirit of joy and belonging. Each grade has a special role, creating meaningful milestones that build year by year and culminate in the honor of leading as 8th graders.
