Guided Tour of Kindergarten through Eighth Grade at our All-School Open House
February 1, Friday, 5:00-6:00 p.m.
What does Waldorf student work and curriculum look like? Join us for this tour to find out! We’ll be hosting a special Guided Tour of Kindergarten through 8th Grade for preschool and kindergarten parents led by our preschool teacher Jessica Efstratis. She’ll guide you through our open house and you will have a chance to hear each K-8 teacher give a brief synopsis of the curriculum and view samples of the children’s work. It’s a great way to learn about how the Waldorf curriculum builds year over year. Meet in the Golden Poppy preschool classroom at 5 pm. One parent or caregiver (and child) is invited to stay in the preschool while the other joins the tour. For adults only.

Why Choose Waldorf Education?
February 13, Wednesday, 6:00-7:30 p.m., Multipurpose Room
How do Waldorf teachers, parents and graduates view Waldorf education? This evening's discussion will be sure to be lively, with insights that only those who have experienced Waldorf education can share. Joining us will be two teachers who are passionate about Waldorf education. They will give an overview of Waldorf education and speak about their experience teaching.  Also present will be Amy Zuber, current Davis Waldorf parent of a Davis Waldorf of an 8th grader as well as a graduate. We also hope to have a DWS alumni student join us. This evening is sure to be informative and warm. Open to all, adults only please.
